Body Scrub Recipes

Need a quick me up? Then head to the kitchen to mix up a batch of honey and brown sugar exfoliating scrubs. They won't make those bags under your eyes magically disappear, but you might be surprised at how much better they make your skin feel.
Honey is a humectant, which draws moisture from the air to your skin and brown sugar is a terrific exfoliating agent that removes those dead skin cells that make your skin look and feel dry and flaky. Together these two ingredients make a winning team. There's no easier way to pamper your self and feel invigorated!

Sugar Body Scrub

If you haven't tried a Brown Sugar Body Scrub you may be pleasantly surprised. Some Salt Scrubs are too rough and abrasive for sensitive skin. For a gentle exfoliation try a scoop of Brown Sugar (light or dark), your favorite carrier oil to gently moisten, and one or two drops of your favorite essential oils. Gently scrub away winter dull skin, without the sting ofsalt.

"The trend toward natural health consciousness in humans is gaining popularity in the animal world too. Many veterinarians are beginning to introduce natural therapies in their practice, including osteopathy, homeopathy, acupuncture, flower essences and more recently aromatherapy. It's just been a few years since aromatherapists and vets have begun to recognize how animals can benefit from this wonderful natural therapy."
